(Thomas Boyd/The Oregonian) Brianne Theisen Eaton, who resides in Eugene and is a member of Oregon Track Club Elite, won the heptathlon gold medal Wednesday at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, Scotland. Theisen Eaton, a University of Oregon graduate, is a Canadian citizen. Theisen Eaton won five of the seven heptathlon events en route to 6,597 points in the two-day competition. Jessica Zelinka, the Canadian teammate, won the silver medal. Zelinka finished with 6,270 points. Theisen-Eaton, who captured three NCAA heptathlon championships for the Ducks, is married to Ashton Eaton, world record-holder in the heptathlon. Final results table
